Hello! Well, I haven't worked out in 2 days. I was supposed to today, but I had errands to run and get ready for my sister's b-day tomorrow. I plan to go to the gym early tomorrow so I wont get into a lazy pattern. My family and I are going out to eat dinner and have a couple of drinks in honor of my sister's b-day. I hardly drink at all, however on occasion I might have a drink or two. I guess I will have a glass of white wine, just you know, keep it simple and not take on a bunch of empty calories. For those of you who don't know what these are, they are calories with no nutrional value. Other than giving you energy, it contributes to body fat and will most likely be stored in your belly! :(
We will probably go to an Italian restaurant. OMG, I can smell the pasta covered in alfredo sauce already! That is definately a weakness of mine, I'm sure some of you can relate. What I found helpful when this craving happens, is to order whole wheat pasta, split the meal with someone else, and have the cook put the sauce on the side. Like I've said before, whole wheat pasta is a better choice than regualr white pasta because it has nutrients. Also, as we know, portions are too large and we feel that if we just finish it all, we wont have to box it and have it sit in our frig probably to be thrown out anyway. And last but not least, keep sauce on side! Whenever I eat pasta or salads with dressings, I find that I usually eat half or less than half of the portion they give me. You rather have the leftovers of it go in the garbage rather to your thighs!
Don't eat like a bird! However, eat so the next day you won't regret your decision of the night before.
