Hello again! I'm happy to say that I'm almost over my cold :) What I wanted to talk about to you today is stress. It can bring out the worst in us. Sometimes we feel like we have no control over our lives and we become so consumed with the craziness of daily life. Instead of living, we find it to be a struggle to just get through one day at a time. Sometimes it can go as far as affecting our relationships with the ones were the most close to, the ones we love. Or it can go as far as affecting our mental and physical states.
I once heard that everyday we should spend at least ten minutes in complete silence. You know, just clear our minds and take a breather. When I get really stressed, I just shut off the tv or anything noisy, light a candle and close my eyes. I often go to a quiet place in my mind. Whether it be in a cabin up in the mountains or laying on a warm sandy beach. Allow yourself to escape, even for a couple minutes and consume yourself with peace and calmness.
As most of you know, life is hard. However, everyday that we get through is a sign that we are strong and can make it through to the next. Surround yourself with goodness and don't feel bad to take time for yourself. We all need that. Take a personal day off, take a coffee break, or take a bubble bath. Cleanse you soul, clear your mind. Live for today, dream for the next.
