Progress, it's a thing of beauty (When it starts!)

As my first day as a blogger, I wanted to let everyone know that I will be documenting pretty much every step of the way to my progress. Its 4:18 pm and I guess I have gotten off to an ok start with my eating. I slept in late because I was up late making my blog. Anyway, I drank coffee for breakfast(is not the best choice, but wasn't in the mood to make anything else) and for lunch I had a lean cuisine meal. So not too bad for starters however there's one problem, MY stomach is grumbling! :( Don't people say you shouldn't eat after 7pm if your watching your weight? I have less than 3 hours to eat! Well I am extending that time! Do those ppl know that if you don't eat and you stay hungry, your metablolism slows down even more? Crazy! Part of my mission is to find tasty recipes and moderate excersice techniques to reach my goals and help you too if you have the same dillema. My goal is not to be skinny, but to be healthy. As for the recipes, I have already started doing research on spaghetti squash. It is said that when cooked, the meat of the squash comes out in long strips and resembles pasta. We all know that pasta is a definite "no!" when your trying to loose weight because of the carbs in it. The common reaction is if your going to eat pasta, eat whole wheat because it is a much healthier option than plain old white pasta, which is true. However, I found the carbs and calories are still there. While I was watching tv, I heard of Tofu noodles, which has like no calories or carbs in it. It was inexpensive and easy to make. All you have to do is drain it and heat either on a pan or in the microwave. I had gotten some beef seasoning to make a soup similar to Cup of Noodles. As I sat down, and smelt my soup , it was fantastic. It was healthy and authentic; this was the answer! Actually, no it wasn't. The noodle had a very chewy consistency, and tasted like a big, fat worm. I would not recommend this! Buyer Beware! So, spaghetti squash, will you be the answer? Stay tuned for the recipe.
